The Arizona Department of Real Estate now allows renewals to be completed online. Go to www.re.state.az.us, and follow the links to online renewal. You may also click on "Tutorial" for additional information on the process. Once you have renewed online, your Broker will be notified, and will have to confirm your renewal. You may want to contact your Broker to make them aware that you are renewing online.
You may also update your personal information online, including change of address and/or phone number, and hire or sever from a Broker.
You may file an application for license renewal up to 90 days prior to the license expiration date, or up to 1 year after license expiration. If your license has expired, you cannot conduct real estate, cemetery, or membership camping activities, as applicable, until you renew your license and your status is "active".
If you are applying for renewal and are disclosing a criminal conviction, adverse civil judgment, or denial or discipline of a professional or occupational license you held or currently hold, provide the additional documents and information identified on Form LI-400 - Document Checklist, available on the Department's website under Forms Library.
If your license is currently active, your broker needs to go online and approve your continued employment or sign your renewal application before submission. Remember to provide copies of continuing education certificates with your renewal application.
If you are renewing online, you will be required to provide the course numbers and information provided on your course certificates.
